Bazyli the 6-year-old World Driving Champion!

Polish-bred Silesian stallion Bazyli won 2015 FEI World Driving Championships for Young Horses in Mezohegyes (HUN), while his stablemate Frezja claimed the silver medal! Both horses were driven by Bartłomiej Kwiatek ? a member of Kwiatek Driving Team.

Five Polish horses took part in the finals of history?s first FEI World Driving Championships for Young Horses, and they all did excellent:

5-year-olds

  • Imbred śl. (by Pikolo śl., out of Izyda śl. by Mundial śl.), stallion bred and owned by Grzegorz Świątek, driven by Weronika Kwiatek, placed 4th, and due to an impressive elasticity in trot was nicknamed by the Judges a ?Silesian Totilas?

6-year-olds

  • Bazyli śl. (by Lokan śl., out of Bazylia śl. by Palant śl.), stallion bred by Ksiaz Stallion Depot, owned by Grzegorz Świątek, driven by Bartłomiej Kwiatek, placed 1st
  • Frezja śl. (Regiment śl., out of Fuksja śl. by Jogurt śl.), mare bred by Ksiaz Stallion Depot, owned by Grzegorz Świątek, driven by Bartłomiej Kwiatek, placed 2nd

7-year-olds

  • Sonet śl. (by Dastin xx, out of Sorbona śl. by Bojkot śl.), stallion bred by Ksiaz Stallion Depot, owned by OHZ Kamieniec Ząbkowicki, driven by Bartłomiej Kwiatek, placed 4th
  • Lawenda śl. (by Arabetto śl., out of Lokana śl by Glöckner old.), mare bred by Ksiaz Stallion Depot, owned by OHZ Kamieniec Ząbkowicki, driven by Bartłomiej Kwiatek, placed 6th
