Almost 250 competitors from around the world, including Japan and China took part in Strzegom Spring Open, competition opening of the eventing season in Poland.
During four days, riders from 21 countries competed in six international and five national competitions of varying difficulty, and nearly 350 horses cantered through the Moravian hippodrome.
In the three-star competition, the third place was taken by the pair of current Polish eventing champions – Jan Kamiński and Senior sp (Rytm han. – Segowia sp / Genius han.) bred by SK Prudnik, owned by Marcin Kamiński. The winner was Mateusz Kiempa on the 10-year-old mare Libertina DSP (Con Sherry hol. – Libra sp / West han.), bred by SK Bielin, owned by Anna Mańczak. Second place went to the Japanese Yoshiaki Oiwa riding the gelding Bart L JRA (United – Parisma / Gribaldi).
