Polish breeding horses – from Baborówko to Tokyo

For the first time since the Olympic Games in Athens in 2004, Poland will have the chance to compete for the Olympic medal. The polish Team, led by Marcin Konarski, the coach of Polish eventing team, in the composition of competitors: Mariusz Kleniuk and Winona sp (Love Affair han. – Waikiki sp / Spartakus han.) bred and owned by Remigiusz Makowski, Joanna Pawlak and Fantastic Frieda han. The Polish team presented the excellent form and from the very first day of the competition it has been at the forefront in the CCIO4*-L , as a part of which the Qualification for the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 was held.

The rivals of Poles were teams from Russia and Belarus, which were dismissed after the field trial. Poles, however, could not afford to be distracted, because Mariusz Kleniuk and Winona were withdrewn from further competition after the cross trial, which is why the next day all the competitors had to finish the jump test.

The Poles did their job perfectly. In the final classification of the CCIO4*-L competition for the prize of the Roman Roszkiewicz, the Lotto Cup, the podium was almost exclusively white and red: Paweł Spisak (POL) at Banderas took first place, second place was won by the world champion and two-time Olympic gold medalist Michael Jung (GER) on horse Fischerchipmunk FRH, and third – Jan Kamiński (POL) on Jard sp (Czuwaj sp – Jucznia xx / Chef Supreme) bred by Stadnina Koni Rzeczna. Next places were taken by Joanna Pawlak (POL) on Fantastic Frieda (fourth place) and Paweł Warszawski (POL) on Aristo A-Z (fifth place).

The best pair of the competition CCI3 * -S Kuhn Farm Machinery Cup was Jan Kamiński (POL) and Senior sp (Rytm han. – Segowia sp / Genius han.) bred by SK Prudnik, owned by Marcin Kamiński, defending the first position with which he finished cross yesterday.
