Parallel to CSI3*-W show jumping competitions, finals of BMW Polish Indoor Driving Cup for Pairs, and CDN dressage competitions were held at Warsaw Cavaliada.
Bartłomiej Kwiatek with Sonet śl. (by Dastin xx, out of Sorbona śl. by Bojkot śl.), bred and owned by SO Książ and Johnnie Walker sp (by Romadan śl., out of Sara wlkp by Etos wlkp), bred by Kazimierz Andrzejewski, owned by the driver, took 1st place in BMW POLISH INDOOR DRIVING CUP, winning over another Polish competitor Adrian Kostrzewa by 0.5 point.
Best results of Polish-bred horses in dressage were 3rd place for Aramis m (by Efekt m, out of Aragona m by Szał xxoo), bred and owned by SK Janów Podlaski, mounted by Olga Michalik and 5th place for Rimel sp (by Emetic sp – out of Rolina śl. by Rekord śl.), bred by Tomasz Ptaszyński, owned by SJON „Hippoland”, mounted by Natalia Kozłowska. On the other hand, Cavaliada is not only top-level sport, it is also leisure. Therefore, one more time, thanks to Polish Horse Breeders Association and Agricultural Property Agency, spectators could watch a series of special shows. Vaulting team “Volteo” presented a gymnastic piece of art; and “JKS Jagodne” equestrain club, Janów Podlaski State Stud, Pępowo State Stud and Łąck Stallion Depot presented various types of carriages. A draft horse vs people tug of war is a tradition already. This time two groups competed against a stallion from Kętrzyn Stallion Depot, and it was ladies not gents who won with the horse!
